West Des Moines, Iowa — Homesteaders VP-Field Sales Dan Lodermeier announced that Ric Burnette has joined Homesteaders as an Account Executive. Burnette, a longtime sales professional with nearly three decades of experience in the funeral service profession, will serve customers in Georgia.
“Ric is an invaluable asset to Homesteaders,” Lodermeier explained. “Not only is he an exceptional sales professional, but he also has the enthusiasm and caring approach that is essential to building trust and delivering excellent customer service to the firms we serve.”
Burnette brings a proven record of sales success to Homesteaders, having worked in several aspects of the funeral profession including showroom merchandising, cemetery sales, pet memorials, funeral service marketing and pre-need.
A passionate advocate for funeral homes, Burnette is excited to be working for an industry leader in advance funeral funding. “I can help customers with their pre-need sales because I’ve actually sold pre-need in funeral homes,” he said. “Pre-need helps firms solidify the business they already have while securing their long-term financial success. Homesteaders provides excellent marketing programs and customer service that is second to none.”
Burnette is a graduate of the University of Florida where he studied business administration and management. He has been a licensed insurance agent in Georgia since 1986.
