West Des Moines, Iowa — Homesteaders Life Company, a national leader in prearranged funeral funding, has been named a Top Iowa Workplace for 2016. The annual award is given to companies that exhibit outstanding employee satisfaction and organizational health. This is the second consecutive year Homesteaders has received the honor.

This year’s honorees were chosen based on the results of an employee feedback survey conducted by The Des Moines Register in conjunction with WorkplaceDynamics. More than 90% of Homesteaders employees participated, reporting high satisfaction in areas of compensation, benefits, management and work/life balance.
