Due to the recent severe weather in Ohio, Homesteaders has implemented emergency relief measures for policy owners in these affected counties: Adams, Athens, Brown, Gallia, Guernsey, Hocking, Jackson, Jefferson, Lawrence, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Vinton and Washington. We hope this effort will ease some of the burden associated with these weather conditions.

Effective until June 11, 2019, Homesteaders is extending the normal 30-day premium grace period contained in our policies as follows: Any Homesteaders policy insuring an Ohio resident in one of the counties listed above that might otherwise lapse during this period due to non-payment of premium will remain in full force and effect. In addition, Homesteaders is extending special consideration for other processes that impose a time limit for an affected insured or claimant to perform any act, including the submission of claim or other requirements.
