What types of preneed training does Homesteaders offer?

We offer several training opportunities, including free webinars through Successful Sales Essentials and in-depth, hands-on classes through Successful Sales Strategies. All Successful Sales Strategies classes are free for Homesteaders customers. Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.

Who can participate in Homesteaders’ preneed training programs?

Our training programs welcome preneed agents at all experience levels — whether you’re new to the profession or a veteran looking to sharpen your skills.

What can I expect from attending the in-person Successful Sales Strategies training?

You’ll receive program-specific materials, collaborate with your peers in an interactive class format and work through real-life scenarios to strengthen your skills and problem-solving abilities.

Do I need to attend trainings in-person?

No, we offer live and on-demand webinars as well. Successful Sales Essentials webinars are available online and are free to attend, making it easy to participate anytime, from anywhere.

How often does Homesteaders offer classes and webinars?

We typically offer Successful Sales Strategies in-person classes three to five times per year, and we pick new locations each year, except our annual class at Homesteaders’ Home Office in West Des Moines, IA, so more agents have opportunities to attend. We host Successful Sales Essentials webinars every two to three months throughout the year, but you can find the recordings at any time by accessing our free, on-demand library.
