Who I am

The Niedermyer FamilyBecause I grew up in my family’s funeral home, funeral service has always been a big part of my life. My dad is a mortician, and my mom is the office manager of their firm. I joined Homesteaders after graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Prior to becoming an account executive, I worked as a Marketing Data Coordinator.

I enjoy spending time with my husband Bruce, our son Beckham, our daughter Blake and the rest of my family. I also enjoy biking, traveling, baking, cooking and volunteering for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Why I joined Homesteaders

Homesteaders Home OfficeMy ties to the funeral service industry made Homesteaders an appealing choice. My dad recommended that I pursue a career at Homesteaders, knowing the company has a strong reputation as a leader in pre-need funding. Working at Homesteaders gives me the opportunity to use my background and expertise in a team-oriented environment.

What I do

Niedermyer Accepting Account Executive AwardAs an account executive, I am able to expand my role in helping to support and educate my customers. I enjoy helping them to be successful by providing them with the tools and information they need. By working with my customers to educate families about the value of funeral service and the importance of pre-need funeral planning, I can help make a difficult time a little easier for those who have lost a loved one.
