I’m a licensed funeral director and certified preplanning consultant, and have dedicated the past 30 years of my life to the funeral profession. Before joining Homesteaders, I managed a preneed program and helped it grow through programs for Veterans and relationship-building community events.
I have an associate’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University and a degree in Mortuary Science from Northampton Community College. I’m also a Notary Public and have earned awards such as the NFDA Professional Women's Conference Scholarship and the NFDA Professional Development Scholarship.
My family and I are longtime residents of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. I find that I think best when I am physically active, and enjoy snowboarding in the winter and waterskiing in the summer. I also run and lift year-round. To help feed my creative side, I make stained glass windows and work on embroidery.
I decided to join Homesteaders for many reasons. When I attended the NFDA Professional Women’s Conference, I learned that Homesteaders is a major contributor to education and development programs for funeral professionals. Homesteaders has been successful within the funeral profession and I appreciate companies that give back. Homesteaders also has a fabulous team and a positive, friendly culture.
Because I’ve dedicated so much of my professional life to funeral service, I have a lot of experience to share. My previous role in growing and maintaining a preneed program has given me a solid foundation for analyzing the needs of my funeral home customers.
I am very excited to work with funeral professionals, and I’m ready to hear about your concerns and goals. I look forward to working together to help you identify and implement solutions to help your businesses grow.
