Lindsay Cutter and Lexi Smith Named New Homesteaders Account Executives

West Des Moines, Iowa — Homesteaders Life Company Senior VP-Strategic Markets Will Bischoff is pleased to announce the appointment of two seasoned sales professionals to Homesteaders’ industry-leading team of account executives. Lindsay Cutter will serve customers in North Carolina and South Carolina, and Lexi Smith will support clients in Iowa, Illinois and Missouri.

Having spent the last 15 years as a sales consultant with Batesville Casket Company, Cutter recognizes Homesteaders as a leader in the funeral profession. She looks forward to continuing the client relationships she has built over her career as well as leveraging her background to foster new ones. “I care deeply for the funeral profession and those who work to help families through difficult times. Smith’s experience in the funeral profession began as a funeral service consultant for Matthews Aurora Funeral Solutions, a notable partner of Homesteaders on the company’s P3 Casket Price Protection Program. She is passionate about helping funeral homes educate their community members on the benefits of preplanning. “Joining Homesteaders felt like a natural progression for me,” Smith said. “I aim to help tailor solutions for funeral homes to best meet each family’s needs.”

Cutter earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Ohio University. Additionally, she is an active volunteer and community board member in Charlotte, North Carolina. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Most recently, she supported funeral providers as Regional Relationship Manager for PFP.
