West Des Moines, Iowa —  Homesteaders Life Company Senior VP-Strategic Markets Will Bischoff is pleased to announce that Veronica Diaz has joined Homesteaders’ industry-leading team of account executives. Diaz will serve customers in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Colorado.

“Veronica’s understanding of and passion for proactive planning will help our customers build and sustain successful preneed programs,” Bischoff said. “Her background working directly with funeral professionals, combined with expertise in funeral insurance and preplanning, make her a valuable addition to the established excellence of our sales team.”

Diaz brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services leadership, strategic business development and preneed funeral planning. In 2017, she began a consulting firm focused on advance funeral planning, estate planning coordination and legacy protection, which allowed her to educate families about the importance of proactive planning.

Diaz holds her insurance license in California and is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University.
