According to a recent Homesteaders’ customer satisfaction survey, roughly a third of funeral home owners are age 60+, a metric that has increased since our previous survey. Funeral professionals are getting older, and many of them are reaching—or passing—retirement age without a clear plan to transition their business to the next generation of funeral professionals.
