Since its launch, the myHomesteaders® app has empowered funeral professionals with the ability manage your preneed program from your device. This app is connected to your myHomesteaders® business services dashboard, making it easy to search for policies, check policy details, see recent activity and much more.
In 2024 we introduced our most significant update yet, with more robust tools focused on accelerating your preneed business from anywhere you’re connected. We prioritized our most frequently requested features to ensure these updates deliver the greatest possible impact in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of your program.
What You Can Do In the Updated myHomesteaders® App
With more and more people relying on their mobile devices to stay up to speed on their business, whether they’re in the office or on the go, we wanted to make sure the myHomesteaders® app provided even more of the features that matter to funeral service professionals. Here’s an overview of what you can do in the app.
Find Preneed Policy Information – Fast
Although having access to more information is beneficial, it shouldn’t slow you down in finding the Homesteaders policy details you need quickly. We’ve enhanced the app’s policy search features to improve how you can find the insights you need. This includes the ability to customize your search results by filtering and sorting by key policy characteristics and criteria. You can also view available policy documents within the app.
Access Seamless Claims Management
Because we know how important fast claims payment is, we’ve added the ability to start a claim* directly from the myHomesteaders® app via our convenient online claims system. The app provides online claims access directly from a policy details section, which means you’ll spend less time tracking down information. Plus, this feature offers more efficient processing, which helps ensure claims can be paid quickly.
Integrate Your Device’s Built-in Features
We’ve added integrations with your device’s built-in features designed to enhance how you log in and stay connected. With these updates, you can set up a quicker login process using your device’s fingerprint or face recognition capabilities, offering both convenience and security. We’ve also made it even easier to connect with contacts via the myHomesteaders® app. The app integrates with your device’s email, calling and map functions to allow for improved communication. For example, if you’re viewing the policy details section and need to connect with a contact, you can simply select the phone icon to initiate a call.

The myHomesteaders® app is available now for Homesteaders agents and funeral home customers. (You must have a myHomesteaders® dashboard login to use the features in this app.)
