The end of summer is rapidly approaching – and so is the 2023 National Funeral Directors Association International Convention & Expo, which heads to Las Vegas, September 10-13. An earlier start to the convention this year means a shorter wait until we can reconnect and share ideas, best practices and new tools for reaching more families in your communities and continuing to build upon the exceptional standard of service you provide.
As previous attendees know, the NFDA convention offers many opportunities to customize your experience to meet your goals and help you get the most out of your time. In addition, you’ll have plenty of chances to learn about Homesteaders’ personalized approach to preneed that helps create a program that meets the unique needs of your firm. Here are just a few of the ways the NFDA convention can provide the experience you choose.
Select Sessions to Meet Your Goals
This convention is an excellent place to learn strategies that will help you achieve your goals for your firm. The NFDA convention agenda provides details about more than 30 sessions that take place throughout the convention and cover topics such as best practices for business operations, serving the diverse needs of your community and leveraging technology to connect with more families.
Get Inspired in the Expo Hall
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to a successful funeral home, and you’ll find many ideas for enhancing your firm’s operations and offerings in the Expo Hall. Don’t forget to meet with the Homesteaders team at Booth 1623 to learn about our unique approach that customizes a preneed program that makes sense for your business.
Expo Hall Hours (listed in Pacific Time):
- Monday: 12 to 5 p.m.
- Tuesday: 12 to 5 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Celebrate and Connect with Colleagues
One of the best ways to get to know other funeral professionals is to attend social events and recognition ceremonies throughout the convention. There will be many chances to develop connections through those events, charity and volunteer opportunities before the official start of the convention and other gatherings that take advantage of the attractions Las Vegas has to offer. Visit the convention's special events website page to learn more about these opportunities and choose the ones that will be the most meaningful to you.
We hope to see you in Las Vegas in just a few weeks. If you still need to register, go to the NFDA website to learn about options for attending. And, don’t forget to follow along with Homesteaders during the event on our Facebook page.
